Well, today is the day the rental car is returned. Have no fear, we are prepared. Meet our His and Her beach cruisers also known as, our new means of transportation. Aren't they cute? There was much debate over gears vs cruiser. We went with the later. And althought this first week has been tough on the legs (between running, hiking, swimming and non-gearless up hill peddling), I think we both thought the extra work would be worth it.
State law requires a "bike license", which we were able to filled and purchased at the register (weird). I left feeling legal and legit. I have officially arrived!
